Privacy Policy

Last updated May 27, 2026

RecipeBookmark helps you turn recipe links, social posts, videos, and pasted text into editable recipe drafts and saved recipes. This policy explains what data is handled by the app and connected services.

Information You Provide

RecipeBookmark may process:

How Information Is Used

We use this information to manage early access requests, authenticate your account, create recipe drafts, save and sync recipes, preserve original source attribution, apply quotas, troubleshoot failed imports, and support account deletion. RecipeBookmark does not use imported recipe content for advertising.

Third-Party Processing

RecipeBookmark uses service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication and storage, social metadata providers for user-submitted links, speech-to-text and OCR tooling where needed, and OpenAI-compatible language or visual models for recipe extraction. These providers process content only as needed to provide the import and sync features.

Local Storage

The iOS app stores shared items, drafts, onboarding state, and cached saved recipes on your device. You can export recipes as JSON or clear local data from Settings.

Retention And Deletion

Account deletion is available in the iOS app under Settings. Deleting your account removes your account and signs you out. The app also clears local shared items, drafts, and cached saved recipes from that device after a successful deletion request.

Your Responsibilities

Only import links or text that you have the right to save. RecipeBookmark keeps source links visible but is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, or other platforms where user-provided links may originate.
